Adventures in Fiji
I went on a Family trip to Fiji with a group of Travel Planners. Our itinerary was to see properties in the Northern Islands: Taveuni, Castaway Island, Jean-Michel Cousteau, Namale, Yasawa Island Resort and Likuliku but due to cyclone Gene our itinerary was revised.
We spent most of our time at the Fiji Resort and Spa in Denarau, the hotel is perfect for business travelers or golfers. The General Manager was very accomodating and went out of his way for all the guests at his property. We toured all the properties in Denarau and many more on the island of Viti Levu. I learned you have to get off of the main island to see the beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise water you imagine Fiji to be.
But the Fijians are genuinely friendly no matter where you go. They are so welcoming and are very proud of their culture and love to share their stories with you.
Thankfully I won tickets to go back to Fiji from Air Pacific, Fiji`s national airline and I look forward to my next trip. The next time I will go see the properties we were suppose to see the first time. If anybody would like more information on Fiji please feel free to email me.
